If it hasn't yet sunk in for you that Gypsy Sally's is closed, this just might do the trick. The iconic VW hippie van is rolling out of Gypsy Sally's today, the last piece of the auctioned off history to get picked up.

Just before opening in September of 2013, Gypsy Sally's co-owner, David Ensor, told the Georgetowner, "“Our hippy bus is sure to leave a few patrons scratching their heads and asking why? Our response is simply, why not?” Nestled in a dark corner of the Vinyl Lounge, the van served as a spot to relax for a bit and was surely the number one spot in the venue to take photos with friends.

Get some tissues handy and join us as say goodbye to a dear friend. We will stream the departure live on the DC Music Review Facebook page until the van is out of sight.
