Phans for Racial Equity (PHRE) is hosting their first annual retreat this weekend, and we are excited to be helping them webcast the public forum and virtual concert tonight!

Jay Curley of Ben and Jerry's will moderate a discussion from 5:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. about how fans can make the scene more inclusive & support racial justice in the broader world. "In a Minute I'll be PHRE: Origins & Organizing" will also address PHRE's origins, including the "Phish Scene So White: Let's Talk" article, the online backlash, and what that says about the Phish fan community; as well as about PHRE's mission and core activities, including tabling at Phish shows and working with venues to address harassment, and how folks can get involved.

While this is a free event, ​they are asking attendees to make a contribution to Color of Change, the nation’s largest online racial justice organization. Color of Change uses donations to help people respond effectively to injustice in the world around us, moving decision-makers in corporations and government to create a more human and less hostile world for Black people in America.
