British indie-rock trio Alt-J teamed up with their friends, Portugal. The Man, for two exciting nights at The Anthem in Washington, DC. Fans were enthralled by an explosion of ethereal sound and light as Alt-J performed new material from their recent album, The Dream. The trio played on risers inside a fish tank of sorts – artfully combining trippy projections and beautiful light design. It was a captivating presentation, one that their dedicated fans experienced with pure joy.
Portugal. The Man warmed the stage with a stunning set of career-spanning tunes – continuously melding in and out songs in impressive fashion. The Alaskan unit has fine-tuned their ever-evolving brand of psychedelic, indie and alternative rock to enthrall the crowd with a barrage of sound and imagery.
The North American tour continues in the southeast before making their way westward and back again, ultimately closing with a pair of Canada shows in April. Don't miss this spectacular pairing in a city near you!
