Holly Bowling is a classically trained pianist who began playing piano at the age of five. Holly’s transition from classically trained pianist to mainstay in the Jam band scene came when she became obsessed by Phish’s infamous rendition of “Tweezer” from Lake Tahoe on July 31, 2013. Holly Bowling transcribe this 37-minute improvisational masterpiece note-for-note and arrange it for solo piano. First you saw her on YouTube, then at the PhanArt show during the Phish’s 2014-2015 New Year’s Eve Run. Pretty soon you started seeing Holly everywhere! Holly Bowling has appeared on stage alongside Mark Benevento, Jazz is PHSH, Greensky Bluegrass, Phil Lesh, Bob Weir, Everyone Orchestra and a myriad of other performers. Her repertoire includes the songs of Phish and the Grateful Dead along with her own compositions.
In January of 2018, Holly announced that she has joined a new band, Ghost Light.
