Vermont jam-band Twiddle announced a two-night run at the 9:30 Club in Washington, DC on October 26th and 27th. Twiddle has performed at this historic venue twice before, once in 2016 and again the following year.
They were just a few tickets short of selling out the 9:30 Club for their March 2017 show. Given their previous successes at the venue, they are more than prepared to perform their first two-night run in DC. This event is sure to sell out completely, as they’ve already sold through their VIP presales within days of the tickets going on sale.
Twiddle has been a mainstay of the jam-band scene for several years and has increasingly extended their fanbase as they’ve performed at venues and festivals all over the country. This talented group has shared the stage with notable performers including Page McConnell, Phil and Graham Lesh, Jeremy Schon, Brandon “Taz” Niederauer, Holly Bowling, Elliott Peck, Carl Gerhard, and Matisyahu among others.
Be sure to see Twiddle perform at the 9:30 Club where you can expect memorable jams including now famous "Gubb Dumps" by Zdenek Gubb, classical and exceptional piano solos by Ryan Dempsey as only norb can do, the steady and rhythms of Brook Jordan, and the unbelievable guitar playing of Mihali Savoulidis.
It feels fitting that Twiddle's Saturday performance on Halloween weekend starts late, with doors opening at 10:30 p.m. Having seen this band perform on numerous past occasions, DC Music Review can confirm that they perform best late into the evening. We have long assumed that this band was comprised of vampires who, like Dracula, have the most fun adventures in the wee hours of the night.
We look forward to these four nocturnal Vermonters who will surely create memorable and unique jams during their double-header Halloween weekend in Washington DC! Don’t forget to bring your costume on Saturday night!
