What better way to spend a Saturday in August than at the Hot August Music Festival? Our favorite local music festival returns to Oregon Ridge Park this Saturday, August 18, and it is one that you don’t want to miss.
The 2018 Hot August Music Festival will feature some amazing artists on three stages throughout the day. Enjoy performances by local favorites, Cris Jacobs, The Dirty Grass Players, the Hall Williams Band and many more! New Orleans rockers, The Revivalists, headline and perform after Trampled by Turtles on the Stages Music Arts Main Stage. You can read up on each artist performing this year and check out their music on the Hot August Music Festival Artists section on their website.
Hot August Music Festival is not just about the music – it's also a day to enjoy fantastic food, drinks, and activities for families. Admission is free for children under 12, making this a perfect family fun day! The Kids Corner Pavilion will feature face painting, kid’s yoga, and everyone’s favorite drum circle. The festival also provides an incentive for volunteers. In exchange for working a 3-hour shift during the festival, you will receive free admission, a wristband, and a tee shirt. This is a great way to enjoy the festival and provide a service.
Gates open at 11 a.m. – be sure to get there early so you don't miss any of the performances. General Admission tickets are still available, so come out this Saturday and enjoy this year's Hot August Music Festival! Visit their website for more information.
Tickets are $68 in advance and $85 on Saturday at the gate. That almost pays for parking ($20)!
This is truly a festival you do not want to miss. It has everything you want - world-class, local and national touring musicians - and a hometown Charm City atmosphere!
