Elephant Revival brought a fiery performance to The Hamilton in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday November 8th.  The band is no stranger to this venue, and guitarist Daniel Rodriguez described it as "such a wonderful place to come and play. We always feel so welcome."

Highlights include a new song, "Lighthouse," a funky and almost upbeat version of "Have a Cigar" by Pink Floyd (which has become a go-to cover for them), a powerful jaunt into "Freedom" by Richie Havens in the middle of "Rogue River", a roaring crowd on "Sing to the Mountain" and "Grace of a Woman," and an intimate version of "Good Graces" during the encore as the band unplugged and brought the crowd in close to sing together.

Since Bridget Law's departure back in September, they've been joined by a few different fiddle players, and on Wednesday were joined by their good friend, Enion Pelta-Tiller of the band Taarka. She certainly stepped up and filled the role, and you can check out some solos by her in "The Truth" and "Grace of a Woman," to name just a couple.

Elephant Revival will be working on some new tunes this winter! They’ll be recording with Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Sturgill Simpson, Jason Isbell) at RCA Studio A in Nashville. And the band's tour brings them to MA, NY, and CT in the next few days before heading out west.
