Connecticut based soul-funk ensemble West End Blend brings their lively and retro, yet contemporary, sound to Tropicalia in Washington, D.C. on Friday, November 30, 2018. Seeing this band live is an absolute experience, which is why they’ve released their new album Live at the Waterhole. The album is an ode to, and an embodiment of, the band’s high-energy live performances.

“When you’re right in front of West End Blend, it’s hard to not be physically blown away by their powerful sound and deep grooves.”

John Dankosky

The 8 person group is led by vocal powerhouse Erica T. Bryan, accompanied by the equally talented Mike Badundo (trumpet/vocals),  Jesse Combs (guitar), Mike Dipanfilo (guitar/ synth), John Mundy (trombobe), Paulie Philippine (keys) and Tom Sullivan (bass). Altogether, they embody the reasons to attend live performances: raw emotion, improvisation, engagement - to name a few.

West End Blend will be bringing this and more to 14th St NW's Tropicalia  - grab your tickets while you can!
