Firmly established as one the premiere music festivals in the Mid-Atlantic region, Hot August Music Festival, again returns for its twenty-seventh year to the picturesque setting of Oregon Ridge Park in Cockeysville, Maryland (minutes from downtown Baltimore) Saturday August 17, 2019.

Festival founder Brad Selko’s stated desire to, “To provide a different variety of American Roots music each year.  Blues, bluegrass, rock, funk, jam, whatever," shows with this year’s lineup.

A diverse array of musicians that span the musical spectrum does just that. Topped by Baltimore’s hometown heroes Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, the line-up also features Turkuaz, Billy Strings, Melvin Seals & JGB, Samantha Fish, Lil Smokies, Dirty Grass Players, Vanessa Collier, Cedric Burnside, Larry McCray, Travers Brothership, and The Old Part of Town.

Voted Baltimore Magazine Best Music Festival in 2013 and Tri-State Indie Music Award for Festival of the Year in 2011, it remains an intimate, fan-friendly event that is a must see each year.  In addition to three stages of live music, Hot August Music Festival also features performance artists, local artisans, activities throughout the day for kids, and a wide range of food and beverage vendors.
