Alt-J is one of the most successful British bands of the millennium. Joe Newman, Gus Unger-Hamilton, and Thom Green have released three studio albums that, between them, have sold in excess of two million copies, and their songs have been streamed more than two billion times.
With their heavily anticipated forthcoming album The Dream coming out this Friday, February 11th, alt-J has a whole set of new tunes to hit the road with, and that is precisely what they have set out to do! However, Alt-J has no intentions of going out on the road alone - instead, they are bringing an all-star lineup that includes Portugal. The Man, Sir Chloe, and Cherry Glazeir. It is worth noting that Portugal. The Man has also been actively creating new music and will release their new single "What, Me Worry?" on February 9th.
So why should fans in Washington DC be so happy? Well, for a lucky 6,500 - you have sold out The Anthem's February 26th performance. So how has alt-J responded to this sell-out? They have now added a SECOND performance to their tour! So, Washington DC, get ready for two nights of tremendous music when alt-J, Portugal. The Man, and Sir Chloe appear at The Anthem on Sunday, February 27th, 2022.
Remember - Sunday is fun-day, and with this incredible lineup, there is no doubt you will step into the work week with a great swagger and smile!
