It has been a scorcher of a week in Washington DC, and we can see no better reason to find a reprieve from the elements by heading to The Hamilton in Washington DC this coming Friday to see Amy Helm perform.

Helm is the daughter of The Band’s drummer/singer Levon Helm and singer/songwriter Libby Titus. She is the founding member of folk group Ollabelle and longtime member of The Midnight Ramble Band.

Helm perform at The Hamilton in celebration of her new album, What the Flood Leaves Behind (Out June 18th). This album is Helm’s third studio album and one where she finds herself stepping fully into her own light.  It represents a gathering of friends, collaborators, experiences and ideas where Helm reflects on her inner strength, calling and self-realization.

While we recognize that some may be uneasy to see concerts in an indoor venue, The Hamilton is a large venue with low capacity and  outstanding staff that hosts exceptional performances like this. You may have already seen an indoor performance and are ready to continue to see great live music. For those that want to experience live music but have not taken the plunge yet, this venue is an intimate and safe foray into live music.

We hope you are  as excited for some deeply beautiful and blissful music from Amy Helm. This performance will be one of Helm's first live performances in over a year and we are excited to experience some of her music live.
