This coming Saturday, May 11th, get ready for the 6th Annual Funk Parade! This festival is a true celebration of all that is Washington DC featuring a one-of-a-kind day fair, parade and music festival,
As always, this festival celebrates Washington DC's vibrant music and arts, the U Street neighborhood, and the Spirit of Funk that unites all that reside in and around Washington, DC.
In addition to the parade, the new festival organizers, The Musicianship, has expanded he offerings at the Funk Parade to include a conference, and Night Music Festival with discussion and performances at over 25 difference venues.
