Week Of:  May 20 — 26, 2019

Summary: Most Fests and Fun!

Let's start off with this: DELFEST!! One of DC Music Review's favorite festivals is finally here this weekend with so many fabulous artists coming together in Cumberland, MD. (See our review from last year to get yourself ready and even more pumped for this weekend!)

And lots and lots of great shows in town (see below), including two performances from the soulful and fresh DC-loves, Oh He Dead, who have been playing in DC since 2015 and recently received some more love from  NPR's All Songs Considered for their real, vibe-y, head-nodding entry into this year's NPR Music's Tiny Desk Concert. Plus check out their interview by local legend, WAMU host Kojo Nnamdi!

You can catch Oh He Dead twice this week, on Friday night with the beloved Gordon Sterling & The People at Gypsy Sally's and again on Sunday night for a free show at The Pub & The People.

Plus, so many more great opportunities to see great music are listed in the links below, with personal choices in bold, along with a list of the DCMR staff top picks and cool "gems" that you don't want to miss.
