There are some big name/super moving artists coming into town this week including:
- Bob Weir And Wolf Bros at The Warner Theatre
- 10,000 Maniacs at Rams Head On Stage (Annapolis)
- Steve Martin & Martin Short with Steep Canyon Rangers and Jeff Babko at The Anthem
- An Evening With Stephen Marley and Post Show Meet & Greet at The Howard Theatre
- Josh Groban with Idina Menzel at The Captial One Arena
I also want to highlight a few of the many womxn artists/fronted bands to check out this week. (And I recognize the irony of having a picture of Geoff from the incredible band Of Tomorrow – playing at FREE SHOW on Friday – pouring his heart out on stage as the image for this article.) Not only are these artists' works incredibly soulful and moving, there are a few extra special educational opportunities this week that go into depth about womxn's contributions to music and perspectives on where we are today (italicized below!)
