Hayley Jane and the Primates are kicking off their fall tour with a headlining debut at Gypsy Sally's on October 4, and they have Pleasure Train opening the show.

Niether of these bands are strangers to Gypsy Sally's. The last time Hayley Jane and the Primates played there, it was supporting Pink Talking Fish a few days before Halloween, nearly one year ago, in costume as Jenny and the Gumps. They sprinkled covers from the soundtrack of Forrest Gump throughout that set. This show marks their second headlining debut in the DMV in 2018. The other being their Baltimore show at the 8x10 last May.

Their summer swing was full of festival sets and saw the band working out several new songs, some of that new music finding its way comfortably into set opening and set closing spots. Most notably, their recent Wormtown Music Festival set opened with three newer, as of yet unreleased tracks.

Thursday's show kicks off an extensive east coast tour to close the year out, and comes just after a handful of summer festival appearances. If you have followed our coverage, you already know this s not a band to be missed. They deliver a fiery, mesmerizing performance each and every time we catch them.  Tickets start at $12.
