The annual Hot August Music Festival at Oregon Ridge Park in Cockeysville, MD announced most of their 2018 lineup today. The Revivalists will headline and be joined by Karl Denson's Tiny Universe, Marcus King Band, Cris Jacobs Band, Psycho Killers, Whiskey Shivers, Nikki Hill, The Dirty Grass Players, Omari Banks, Selwyn Birchwood, and Hall Williams Band. One spot is left to be announced on April 1.

Tickets go on sale on Friday, March 9 and start at $58 for the extra early birds.

Though formerly known as the Hot August Blues Music Festival, 2018 marks the 25th year for this festival, and the experience leads this to be  consistently one of the smoothest run out there. There's two stages that are easy to hop back and forth between, and great sight lines everywhere as the main stage sits at the bottom of a hill.

The Revivalists are no stranger to Oregon Ridge Park. They played the main stage as recently as 2016. and were there the year before. as well. Cris Jacobs, coming off a wave of success, returns for the first time since 2012.
