Deep in the heart of Prince George's County, Maryland and right outside of Washington, DC exists a wonderful homegrown bluegrass talent, Moose Jaw Bluegrass. DC Music Review was happy to find this talented group performing at the Vinyl Lounge at Gypsy Sally's on November 24th.  Moose Jaw Bluegrass is comprised of five talented artists — four Maryland artists: Jason Roe, Addison Barlett, Josh Taylor, Chris Ousley, and Canadian fiddle player Stacey Sinclair.

Moose Jaw Bluegrass combines hard-hitting originals, eclectic covers, and driven bluegrass favorites to create a unique and energetic sound sure to entertain. Moose Jaw is Prince George’s County, Maryland’s premiere working-class bluegrass ensemble! They perform traditional, not-so-traditional, original, and not-so-original tunes for audiences throughout the mid-Atlantic region. Moose Jaw’s full acoustic lineup creates high lonesome melodies reminiscent of the bluegrass all-stars.
