Music fans in the DMV are in for a special treat on Saturday, April 16th, when jam band nobility Spafford performs at the Baltimore Soundstage in Baltimore, MD. This incredible band is known for their spectacular improvisational ability and off-the-cuff extended jams as they paint a sonic picture in real-time each night with a musical palette known only to each other and their fans. Many of these jams have been captured and transformed into legendary albums in their own right, including Chapel Jam. In their earlier years, Spafford was very well known throughout Arizona and the West Coast, and as their reputation grew, they headed east and evolved into a national touring act that entertained audiences in concert halls, pavilions, and festivals dotting our musical landscape, including high profile festival sets at Bonnaroo and Firefly Music. Spafford is no stranger to the region, and many fans have delighted in their performances as they have performed at many of our beloved venues and festivals, including The 8x10, Union Stage, the 9:30 Club, and Peach Festival.

Opening for Spafford in Baltimore will be Moody Moose, and this performance marks Spafford's first venue appearance in the region since February 2020. We cannot tell you how excited we are to see them perform again and dance in glee inside their sonic temple.
