The powerhouse quartet, fronted by <strong>Warren Haynes<\/strong>, welcome special guests \u2013 the <strong>Allman Betts Band<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 for what is sure to be a special evening of revelry and celebration.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" title=\"The Met\" src=\"\/\/www.dcmusicreview.com\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/79929260_2558275581163509_9182682938326646784_n.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2048\" height=\"1365\" data-id=\"108032\"><\/p>\n<p>The Met. Photo by Jordan August.<\/p>\n<p>Philly has been a consistent destination for the band around this time of year, typically rocking out at the historic<strong> Tower Theatre <\/strong>in Upper Darby. This time, Mule opted for the recently renovated venue \u2013 a former opera house \u2013 that boasts two balconies, 25 bars, 3,400 capacity and gorgeous interior architectural design.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Gov&#8217;t Mule consists of the aforementioned Haynes (guitar, vocals) and rounded out by <strong>Matt Abts<\/strong> (drums) <strong>Danny Louis<\/strong> (keys, guitar, trombone, trumpet, vocals) and <strong>Jorgen Carlsson<\/strong> (bass). The band recently celebrated its 25-year anniversary \u2013 a major accomplishment considering the untimely passing of Mule&#8217;s original bassist <strong>Allen Woody<\/strong> in 2000.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Tickets are available for The Met show <a href=\"https:\/\/concerts1.livenation.com\/event\/0200573AED8C9B64\">here<\/a> and start at $39.50+ fees. .
