LaMP<\/span><\/strong>, featuring <\/span>Russ Lawton, Scott Metzger<\/span><\/strong>, and <\/span>Ray Paczkowski<\/span><\/strong> will play twelve shows across the Northeast this Fall. Luckily for us, the trio stops at <\/span>The Atlantis <\/span><\/strong>in<\/span> Washington, DC, <\/span><\/strong>on <\/span>Wednesday, December 6th, <\/span><\/strong>for a headline performance.   <\/span>This performance is your opportunity to see these extraordinary musicians perform up close in an intimate 450-person venue. <\/span><\/p>\n

LaMP<\/span><\/strong> formed on a magical night at <\/span>Nectar’s<\/span><\/strong> in Burlington, VT, circa December 2018, when drummer <\/span>Russ Lawton<\/span><\/strong> and Hammond B-3 organist <\/span>Ray Paczkowski<\/span><\/strong>, whose duo <\/span>Soule Monde<\/span><\/strong> are longtime stalwarts of the Burlington, Vermont music scene and nationally recognized as the rhythm section for the <\/span>Trey Anastasio Band<\/span><\/strong> (TAB) were joined by guitarist <\/span>Scott Metzger<\/span><\/strong>, an in-demand session guitarist and one-fifth of celebrated Grateful Dead revivalists <\/span>Joe Russo’s Almost Dead<\/span><\/strong> (JRAD).<\/span><\/p>\n

LaMP Fall Tour 2023<\/p>\n

 The chemistry between the three was immediate, resulting in a heavy groove, soul jazz, throwdown with dollops of deep-fried funk and technical prowess to spare. A series of starts and stops were to follow as its three members navigated their individual schedules. In 2023, they have doubled down and committed to this band in 2023, which has resulted in LaMP’s busiest year yet.<\/span><\/p>\n

LaMP’s performance will be supported by none other than the Frederick’s very own  funktastic keyboardist Natalie Brooke<\/strong> and her band.<\/span><\/p>\n

 We hope to see you at The Atlantis on December 6th – one of only twelve performances of their Fall 2023 tour, and given the size of The Atlantis this performance like most performance at The Atlantis will sell out very quickly.<\/span><\/p>\n
