Get ready for the 2nd Annual Greasy Hands Pig Roast<\/strong> on August 3, 2024.  This is set to be a spectacular featuring and celebrating local music community and it is all about bringing together family and friends for a great day of music, arts – and delicious BBQ.<\/p>\n

The Pig Roast is the brainchild of Baltimore-based prog-funk-metal-jam band Greasy Hands<\/strong>. This event was an idea 10 years in the making, and what’s most astounding is that this single-day music festival is 100% independently owned and operated<\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This event will be held at the beautiful property of <\/span>Stages Music Arts<\/strong><\/a>. During the event on the patio stange there will be vendors in the field while the delicious smell of two whole pigs being roasted will whaft through the air.<\/span><\/p>\n

You may have missed the successful inaugural event in 2023, but it should be on your radar for 2024 and for years to come.  Make sure to bring your musical appetite for a full day of fun.<\/p>\n

Natalie Brooke<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Natalie “Noodley” Brooke – need anyone say more? Natalie is very much on the rise and taking the world by storm with her keys and keytar.  The event could not be more stoked to have her as the event co-headliner.<\/p>\n

Muscle Tough<\/span><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n

This is another prog-rock fusion band from Philly. Greasy Hands wanted to bring in a cool band from outta town.<\/p>\n

5 Spot<\/span><\/strong> <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

 This is a young groovy jam band that has played at 8×10 and is friends of Greasy Hands.   Great people and great musicians.  Their kickass singer Rachel May<\/strong> will also sing a song or two with Greasy Hands as well.  She just sang “Aerials” by System of a Down<\/strong> with Greasy Hands at their 8×10 performance and  their bassist Lucas Feather <\/strong>played sax with Greasy Hands on Hall and Oates’<\/strong> “I Can’t Go for That.”<\/p>\n

The Morel Trio<\/span><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n

This trio is an absolute monster band of musicians featuring drummer Mike Gambone<\/strong> (The Bridge<\/strong>), bassist Ian Trusheim<\/strong> (formerly of Brooks Long<\/strong>, all around bad ass) and guitarist Grant Fisher.<\/strong> <\/p>\n

Stages All-Access All Stars<\/span><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n

The host venue, Stages<\/strong>, puts their students into bands together, and this is their top-tier student band. There is some insane talent – several students have gone off to Berklee College of Music<\/p>\n

If you made it last year, you know this is an unbelievalbe event and not to be missed.<\/p>\n
