The venue does project movies along a wall opposite the bar where you can watch old Rolling Stones documentaries amongst other music-oriented films (Keith Richards never looked so young).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Performance Floor (One Floor Down):<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The central performance space is unobstructed standing room only. Union Stage notes in their FAQ page \u201cIf you have other special needs or arrangements, please do not hesitate to call us in advance of the show, and we will do our best to accommodate you.\u201d Please contact them at (877) 987-6487 for more information.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Seating<\/strong><\/h4>\n<h4><strong>Seating<\/strong><\/h4>\n<h4><strong>Seating<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>To the far left of the performance space beyond and behind the soundboard a small area for a seated performance experience. &nbsp;The tables also include full service drink and dining service.<strong>Tip: <\/strong>Seats \/ seated dining spaces are quite limited and on a first come first serve basis. If you prefer to sit, please arrive at the venue closer to door opening time than performance time.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Stage, Lighting, &amp; Sound<\/strong><\/h4>\n<h4><strong>Stage, Lighting, and Sound<\/strong><\/h4>\n<h4><strong>Stage, Lighting,&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h4>\n<h4><strong>\u200b<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;and Sound<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The main performance hall is approximately 7500 square feet and comfortably accommodates 450 concertgoers. Both the lighting and sound system are brand new and quite state of the art. The TapRoom Bar is immediately inside the venue while another larger bar is inside the performance space to the right of the stage.We will go out on a limb and say that <strong>Union Stage has one of the more impressive list of craft beers in draft and cans<\/strong>. You will not be disappointed with their selection in the least as they are hand selected by the bar staff. A truly inspired selection of seasonal beer selections and one that changes every few months. You will not be dissapointed by their selection of both local, regional, and national beers. Take Exit 1B-C toward I-695\/Route 395\/Downtown. Take Exit 5 for 7th Street\/L\u2019Enfant Promenade, then turn left onto 7th Street to Maine Avenue. Turn right on Maine Avenue.<\/p>\n<p><strong>South of Washington DC:<\/strong> Take I-395 North. Take Exit 4 toward SW Waterfront\/National Park\/Maine Ave and follow 9th Street to Maine Avenue. Continue down Maine Avenue to 7th Street SE..<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Metro:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wmata.com\/rider-guide\/stations\/waterfront.cfm?y=38\" style=\"-webkit-user-select: none;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Waterfront Metro <\/a>station the closest Metro station from the venue as Union Stage is on the southernmost part of The District Wharf.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Taxi \/ Uber \/ Lyft<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The venue and box office is located at 740 Water St SW, Washington, DC 20024. It costs approximately $26 for 4 hours or more. &nbsp;There are several additional entrances and exists to this parking lot that runs unter the entire District Wharf.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Additional Parking <span style=\"color: rgb(188, 54, 27);\">(We cannot understate the value of the following section)<\/span>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There are approximately 10 parking lots within walking distance of the venue.<\/p>\n<p>Two blocks south of The District Wharf there is a parking lot in front of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.odysseycruises.com\/washington-dc\" style=\"-webkit-user-select: none;\">Odyssey Cruise<\/a> Termininal. There is limited parking available and it is $16 (paid at time of arrival) and has no time limit (no overnight parking)&gt;<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u200b<\/strong>If you are looking for pre-booked parking at discounted rates, we recommend using Spot Hero.
