The Dan Lipton Trio<\/strong> is no stranger to this Georgetown venue, though they are typically found in the Vinyl Lounge<\/strong> bar accessed through the back alley.<\/p>\n

This three-piece act  features Dan Lipton<\/strong> as their frontman on guitar and vocals, Ken Cobb<\/strong> on bass, and Gypsy Sally’s own, Baptiste Bourgade<\/strong>, on caj\u00f3n. Their sound evokes an Americana songwriting style that sits comfortably at home on this stage.<\/p>\n

Akin to great songwriters such as James Taylor, this trio writes even more melancholy lyrics like those found in ‘Water Rising’ that comes across as pleasantly soothing and peaceful.
