Next Thursday in Baltimore, pianist Marco Benevento will bring his genre bending musical stylings to the 8×10. He has established himself as a top shelf talent, getting numerous accolades for his solo work, as well as his work with other projects such as The Benevento\/Russo Duo, GRAB (Featuring Trey Anastasio<\/a> and Mike Gordon of Phish<\/a>), and Joe Russo\u2019s Almost Dead. Marco\u2019s music covers a wide range of styles from indie rock, to disco, funk, and soul. With a band that features bassist Karina Rykman and drummer Andy Borger, attendees can expect to hear an eclectic and exciting blend of music at one of Baltimore\u2019s best and most intimate venues. The Jon Wood Band, featuring members of Baltimore bands Electric Love Machine and Squaring the Circle, will open up the night. Tickets are $19.53 to purchase online (after fees) and the show starts at 8<\/a>, doors open at 7. You must be 18+ with a valid ID to enter. The 8×10 is located at 10 E.
