One lucky winner of the \u201cGolden Ticket\u201d received tickets to each of the Fillmore\u2019s shows in 2019. But fans were not the only ones dressed in their best costumes. While supporting band <strong>La Dispute <\/strong>did not dress up for the occasion, headliner\u2019s <strong>Circa Survive<\/strong> took on a Biblical theme with their costumes. Guitarists <strong>Colin Frangicetto<\/strong> and <strong>Brendan Ekstrom<\/strong>, along with bassist <strong>Nick Beard <\/strong>dressed up as nuns, while drummer <strong>Steve Clifford <\/strong>dressed up as Jesus, and frontman <strong>Anthony Green <\/strong>sported a devil mask.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tve_image_frame\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"tve_image wp-image-63654\" style=\"width: 100%; -webkit-user-select: none;\" title=\"Circa Survive\" src=\"\/\/www.dcmusicreview.com\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/Circa-5-of-16-e1541456061786.jpg\" alt=\"Circa Survive\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" data-id=\"63654\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>On a low lit stage accompanied by dim lights, Circa Survive opened their set with the song \u201cLustration\u201d off their sixth studio album <em>The Amulet<\/em>, which was released September 2017. The Amulet marks Circa Survive\u2019s first album released through Hopeless Records, after departing from their previous label, Sumerian Records. Circa Survive played a number of other songs off their newest album, including, \u201cTunnel Vision\u201d, \u201cNever Tell A Soul\u201d, \u201cAt Night It Gets Worse\u201d, \u201cFlesh and Bone\u201d, and title-track \u201cThe Amulet\u201d. Towards the end of their set, Green gave a shout-out to the audience before playing an acoustic version of \u201cAct Appalled\u201d off their 2005 album<em> Juturna<\/em>. \u201cI want to dedicate this song to everyone who has been coming to see us for so long,\u201d said Green. \u201cIt\u2019s crazy to look out and see people who we have been seeing at our shows for the last 10 years plus. Thanks for coming out and being weird with us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tve_image_frame\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"tve_image wp-image-63654\" style=\"width: 100%; -webkit-user-select: none;\" title=\"Circa Survive\" src=\"\/\/www.dcmusicreview.com\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/Circa-5-of-16-e1541456061786.jpg\" alt=\"Circa Survive\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" data-id=\"63654\"><\/span><span class=\"tve_image_frame\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"tve_image wp-image-63648\" style=\"width: 100%; -webkit-user-select: none;\" title=\"La Dispute\" src=\"\/\/www.dcmusicreview.com\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/La-Dispute-1-of-29-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"La Dispute\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" data-id=\"63648\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Although <strong>La Dispute <\/strong>did not bring costumes to the show, they certainly brought energy, with frontman Jordan Dreyer jumping off the stage to the pit multiple times to sing with fans. La Dispute had a setlist full of fan favorites, with songs including \u201cSuch Small Hands\u201d, \u201cKing Park\u201d, \u201cWoman (In Mirror)\u201d, \u201cSaid the King to the River\u201d, \u201cThe Castle Builders\u201d, and \u201cFall Down, Never Get Back Up Again\u201d. Despite all the excitement of the crowd, fans were respectful of one another. Dreyer made a point to show his appreciation for the fans, and related their attitudes to the outside world. \u201cThank you for taking care of the people around you\u201d, says Dreyer. \u201cIt\u2019s super important here, and also outside of here. Take care of people despite the differences you may have. Especially if you\u2019re in a position of privilege, it\u2019s really easy when no one\u2019s after you\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tve_image_frame\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"tve_image wp-image-63648\" style=\"width: 100%; -webkit-user-select: none;\" title=\"La Dispute\" src=\"\/\/www.dcmusicreview.com\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/La-Dispute-1-of-29-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"La Dispute\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" data-id=\"63648\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text thrv-inline-text\">La Dispute<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1em;\">The Amulet Tour will continue through December 2nd, with support from Philly based band<\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 1em;\"> Queen of Jeans<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 1em;\">.
