So many great shows and as always, our local artists are making waves all over the DMV this week. Featured above is the dynamic, Baltimore-based hip-hop band Soul Cannon<\/span><\/strong><\/a>, who I happened to see last year on a whim. Their show at Velvet Lounge<\/strong> ended up being one of the most mind-and-body moving performances I’ve seen all year and they quickly rose up to become one of my favorite local bands. They are playing this Wednesday at the fabulous Ottobar<\/strong><\/a> with two INCREDIBLE and well-loved bands, Speedy Ortiz<\/strong><\/a> and Deerhoof<\/strong><\/a>, for what will be a highlight show for this week<\/strong>. <\/p>\n
