A part of the month long North American \u201cRaisin Hell in the Heartland\u201d Tour, the immense energy levels from the evenings performance left audience members feeling nothing short of wiped out. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"width: 100%;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" style=\"width: 100%;\" title=\"boston manor\" src=\"\/\/www.dcmusicreview.com\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/ADTR-26-of-70.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" data-id=\"96534\"><\/span><span style=\"width: 100%;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" style=\"width: 100%;\" title=\"boston manor\" src=\"\/\/www.dcmusicreview.com\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/ADTR-26-of-70.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" data-id=\"96534\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Starting off the evening was Comprised of vocalist <strong>Henry Cox<\/strong>, guitarists <strong>Mike Cunniff<\/strong> and <strong>Ash Wilson<\/strong>, bassist<strong> Dan Cunniff<\/strong>, and drummer <strong>Jordan Pugh<\/strong>, Boston Manor began in 2013 with the release of their first EP titled <em>Here\/Now. <\/em>Two additional EP&#8217;s later, Boston Manor signed with Pure Noise Records which led to their first studio album <em>Be Nothing<\/em> in 2016<em>. <\/em>After the release of their second studio album <em>Welcome to the Neighbourhood <\/em>in September 2018, Boston Manor spent most of fall on the road headlining their UK tour and supporting fellow pop-punkers Real Friends across the US. Charting at number 80 on the official UK albums chart, <em>Welcome to the <\/em>Neighbourhood included singles such as \u201cHalo\u201d and \u201cBad Machine\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Boston Manor performed many songs off <em>Welcome to the Neighbourhood<\/em>, including \u201cFlowers in your Dustbin\u201d, \u201cEngland\u2019s Dreaming\u201d, and \u201cFuneral Party\u201d. Towards the end of their energetic performance, Boston Manor played their latest single \u201cLiquid\u201d and ended their set with their top hit \u201cHalo\u201d. They will be heading to the UK next month to perform at Reading Festival before embarking on their two-month long UK and European headlining tour.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"width: 100%;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" style=\"width: 100%;\" title=\"knocked loose\" src=\"\/\/www.dcmusicreview.com\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/ADTR-41-of-70.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" data-id=\"96535\"><\/span><span style=\"width: 100%;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" style=\"width: 100%;\" title=\"knocked loose\" src=\"\/\/www.dcmusicreview.com\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/ADTR-41-of-70.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" data-id=\"96535\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The next performance of the evening was that of Kentucky based hardcore band <strong>Knocked Loose. <\/strong>Vocalist <strong>Bryan Garris<\/strong>, guitarists <strong>Isaac Hale<\/strong> and <strong>Cole Crutchfield<\/strong>, bassist <strong>Kevin Otten<\/strong>, and drummer <strong>Kevin Kaine<\/strong> recently announced their second studio album, <em>A Different Shade of Blue<\/em>, which will be released late August. Signed to Pure Noise Records, Knocked Loose released their first studio album <em>Laugh Tracks<\/em><em>back in 2016 and the EP \u201cMistakes Like Fractures\u201d in April 2019. Knocked Loose played songs off Laugh Tracks<\/em> including \u201cOblivion\u2019s Peak\u201d, \u201cNo Thanks\u201d, and \u201cBilly No Mates\u201d. They ended their set with \u201cCounting Worms\u201d, which currently has over 4.5 million plays on Spotify. Knocked Loose will be heading back on the road this fall for their US Headlining tour in support of <em>A Different Shade of Blue. <\/em>Fans can get tickets to their Richmond date on October 27<sup>th<\/sup> at Canal Club or the Washington DC date on October 29<sup>th<\/sup> at Rock &amp; Roll Hotel.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"width: 100%;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" style=\"width: 100%;\" title=\"ADTR \" src=\"\/\/www.dcmusicreview.com\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/ADTR-67-of-70.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" data-id=\"96536\"><\/span><span style=\"width: 100%;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" style=\"width: 100%;\" title=\"ADTR \" src=\"\/\/www.dcmusicreview.com\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/ADTR-67-of-70.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" data-id=\"96536\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Headlining the evening\u2019s performance was Florida\u2019s <strong>A Day To Remember<\/strong>, who were recently featured on the Marshmello song \u201cRescue Me\u201d. Vocalist <strong>Jeremy McKinnon<\/strong>, guitarists <strong>Neil Westfall<\/strong> and <strong>Kevin Skaff<\/strong>, bassist <strong>Joshua Woodard<\/strong>, and drummer <strong>Alex Shelnutt<\/strong> have been rocking out since 2003 and have over the years created a musical style that blends hardcore with pop punk. They currently have six studio albums, with the most recent release <em>Bad Vibrations<\/em>, back in September 2016.&nbsp;Many songs off&nbsp;<em>Bad Vibrations<\/em>&nbsp;reached the top 20 US Rock charts including \u201cParanoia\u201d, \u201cBullfight\u201d, \u201cNaivety\u201d, and \u201cSame About You\u201d. A Day To Remember performed a variety of hit songs off their various albums, pleasing fans with some of the most nostalgic hit. &nbsp;They started off their set with \u201c2<sup>nd<\/sup>&nbsp;Sucks\u201d off&nbsp;<em>What Separates Me From You<\/em>, which describes their experiences with other bands focusing more on competing to be \u201cthe best\u201d of their kind rather than the music itself and the fans.<\/p>\n<p>Can&#8217;t waste my timeOn hateful people like youSo keep wishing you were meAnd I&#8217;ll keep making you have to<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\/\/<\/span><strong> <span style=\"color: #ff3333;\">&#8220;2nd Sucks&#8221;&nbsp;<\/span><\/strong> by <strong>A Day To Remember<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"width: 100%;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" style=\"width: 100%;\" title=\"ADTR\" src=\"\/\/www.dcmusicreview.com\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/ADTR-47-of-70.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" data-id=\"96537\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Throughout the night they played newer songs such as \u201cBullfight\u201d and \u201cParanoia\u201d off <em>Bad Vibrations<\/em> and \u201cRight Back at It Again\u201d and \u201cSometimes You\u2019re the Hammer Sometimes You\u2019re The Nail\u201d off their 2013 album <em>Common Courtesy<\/em>. Older hits were played including \u201cSticks &amp; Bricks\u201d, \u201cAll I Want\u201d, and \u201cBetter Off This Way\u201d off <em>What Separates Me From You <\/em>and<em> \u201c<\/em>I\u2019m Made Of Wax, Larry, What Are You Made Of?\u201d \u201cHave Faith in Me\u201d off Homesick. For their encore performance, A Day To Remember brought out acoustic guitars for their slower hit \u201cIf It Means a Lot to You\u201d before ending the evening with confetti cannons and the more upbeat \u201cThe Downfall of Us All\u201d.
