The Dude, Donny, Walter, Jesus, Maude and more than a dozen other Big Lebowski characters will perform the film’s soundtrack in the return of Pearl Street Warehouse’s ground-breaking interactive show “The Big Lebowski Experience” tomorrow April 20, 2019.

“We’re, like, excited for this whole thing, man,” said the show’s star, Jeffrey Lebowski, as he inhaled deeply and coughed. “Let’s roll. And don’t call me Lebowski; I’m the Dude.”

In addition to rock’n’roll classics by Bob Dylan, Kenny Rogers and the First Edition, Creedence Clearwater Revival and even the fuckin’ Eagles, man, the show also features jazz music by Nina Simone and Esquivel and a group of nihilists performing a brass quintet version of Musorgsky’s “Pictures at an Exhibition," which will accompany a stunning interpretive dance performance behind a screen.

Rumors that drummer and local security consultant Walter Sobchak would be unavailable for this year’s performance due to the start of Passover the day before the 4/20 show proved unfounded; the show will begin after sunset on April 20, therefore not violating Sobchak’s recently adopted, deeply held aversion to “rolling on shabbas.”

Last year’s show proved incredibly popular, with both long-time Lebowski fans and even “Dude-newbies,” many of whom were so stunned by the interactive affair that they stood open-mouthed and red-eyed, mouthing along to the words and expressing how dry their mouths seemed.

“Like last year, fans can expect great music, lots of interaction with the characters and drink specials including the movie’s signature cocktail — the fabled ‘Caucasian’ — and of course, sarsaparilla,” said moderately-talented bowler Jesus Quintana.

Other activities include a fan costume contest and virtual bowling, but micturating on the Dude’s rug is strictly prohibited.
